In 2022, Robin published The Compleate Rankin Book … or at least what I have so far … , a wonderful resource for Rankin genealogists. Its 250 pages of documented research explore various Rankin families in Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, , Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. A full name index makes the book especially easy to use.
As her “publishing assistant,” I made sure the book achieved “Global Distribution” status on lulu.com giving it the widest possible availability. It seemed like a good idea at the time. However, that came with a price. Specifically, the distributers required a lot of bucks to cover their cost and make a profit, which meant a much higher purchase price.
We have now removed The Compleate Rankin Book from Global Distribution and make it available ONLY through the Lulu Publishing’s Bookstore. This allows us to lower the price by about 25%. Anyone wanting a book can log onto lulu.com, click on “Bookstore” at the website home page, and enter the book title or “Robin Willis” in the search field. The Compleate Rankin Book will appear and its price is now $33.50. Or just use this Link. I apologize for not having thought of this sooner.
